MANUFACTURE
THE PROJECT
Our process begins with an extensive research and design phase, where our team of experts collaborates closely with material suppliers and production specialists to identify the most efficient materials, technologies, and production methods for each product.
Once the design is finalized, our production team employs state-of-the-art technologies and production processes to bring the design to life. This may include advanced stitching techniques, 3D printing, and other innovative technologies that help to optimize production and improve quality. Throughout the production process, our team maintains a stringent focus on quality control, rigorously testing materials, components, and finished products to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability are achieved.
Finally, the shoes are carefully packaged and shipped to retailers or directly to consumers, where they are certain to provide years of enjoyment. Our entire process is designed to guarantee that every shoe produced is of the utmost quality and represents the very best in innovative design and manufacturing techniques.
LEATHER TANNING
Leather tanning is a process that converts raw hides into durable leather. In Mexico, the tanning process is often done using natural and organic materials such as tree bark, fruits, and roots.
PATTERN MAKING
The pattern making process involves creating a paper or cardboard template of the footwear design. This template is then used to cut the leather or other materials used in the manufacturing process.
CUTTING
The leather or other materials are cut into the desired shape and size according to the pattern.
SEWING
The cut pieces of leather are then sewn together by skilled artisans using a variety of hand-stitching techniques.
LASTING
The lasting process involves attaching the leather upper to the sole. The upper is stretched and fastened to a shoe last, which is a form that resembles the shape and size of a human foot.
SOLING
The sole is then attached to the upper using adhesive or stitching.
FINISHING
The finishing process involves cleaning, polishing, and buffing the footwear to give it a smooth and shiny appearance.
MANUFACTURING
These handmade manufacturing processes require skilled artisans who are trained in traditional techniques, and who have an eye for detail and quality. While the processes may take longer than machine manufacturing, they produce high-quality, durable footwear that showcases the rich cultural heritage and artisanal craftsmanship of Mexico.
